Tenacity

Laurent and I spent part of the weekend in the beautiful Umbrian town of Spoleto about an hour and 45 minutes drive north east of Rome. We came home a little earlier than intended but that's a story for another day.

Plant in the fortress wall
I have always been astounded by the ability plants have to grow in the strangest of places and under the most arduous conditions. These hardy little bit of green are growing in a wall surrounding the 14th century Albornoz Fortress on a windswept hill top overlooking the city.

I confess for the past few weeks I've been feeling a little bit like that plant.

Ah, but as long as you continue to hang on- that's the important part. Sorry your trip got cut short! Feeling OK I hope..

Yes, hang on please. It's what I've been doing for the last few months as well. I would love to hear that other story too. I am really, really hoping that it isn't health related...
