A Weekend in the Country - Part 2 - There's One Born Every Minute

Aire di Farfa
Granted it was fresher, cleaner, clearer and colder but I question if it's worth EUR4.00 (CAD5.75 USD5.87)for a sardine can of air from the Rieti region. I know it isn't worth it for the Air of Roma they were selling beside it.

19 novembre - San Fausto

Hmmmmm..... Boston air. Sort of essence of overboiled cabbage and diesel fumes....

Oh, thanks again for your last post. I spent part of yesterday listening to the original Broadway cast recording of "A Little Night Music". Though, I have somehow lost my London cast recording, of which I was very fond. I have since discovered it's out of print, so I am going to have to try and find it used. Ho hum.

EG: Air of Ottawa - Autumn leaves and desicated bureaucrat!

I saw the original cast on B'way and loved it from the first note. I had a post up at one point of Glynis Johns and Len Cariou doing the entire Send in the Clowns number but it was taken off YouTube. Sometimes these things are still in the catalogue here in Europe, if I come across the London Cast I'll pick it up for you - vinyl or CD?

That is positively hysterical...

In the 14th Century you could obtain a bottle with the "last breath of St. Joseph." I am sure it would cost a lot more than air from Regione Rieti.

Prayer to Saint Joseph for a Happy Death

O Blessed Joseph, you gave your last breath in the loving embrace of Jesus and Mary. When the seal of death shall close my life, come with Jesus and Mary to aid me. Obtain for me this solace for that hour - to die with their holy arms around me. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I commend my soul, living and dying, into your sacred arms. Amen

Wonky Euro humor. Or rather, humour.

I'm guessing the buyers of this are mostly American (Texans)?

I have no comment. Except to say, "Hi boobala...it's been fun having you come around my blog".

Muuuuah!

Larry: Makes you wonder how many last breathes he took?

Auld: You're learning - slowly but surely we will return America to the true mother tongue.

Tater: We were the only non-Italians there but I did notice they weren't buying. But an Italian friend - from Rome - explained that's because none of them were from the South????

Lorraine: Love hanging around both blogs and boy did I pick up some good and easy cooking things this weekend.

No, actually I think this wins the Ultimate Sucker Challenge! Wow. At least with bottled water you get something that You (maybe) didn't have the moment before you bought it.....

Here in Pittsburgh, we would have the "lingering toxic particulates of the steel mills, with a waft of poverty and longing now that the industry's mostly gone." Mmmm.
