Its been a nice day here - sunny, not quite as warm as I would like it but pleasant. As I was walking home at 5 o'clock I noticed a bit of cloud but nothing serious. Then about 45 minutes later it had gotten dark - darker than it should be at 6 o'clock.
As they are wont to do, this storm front moved in quickly and there was much wind, flashing lightening and some heavy rain. It was very dramatic. But what else would you expect in a country where opera was born?

don't know why..there's no sun up in the sky...stormy weather..since my man and I aint' been together...it's raining all the time..
it's raining in texas too..
ain't it gooood?
Holy cow! You were not kidding! It's so dramatic it looks almost fake - like some c.g. animation effect as the world's about to end. You haven't offended the Pope or anything, have you?
YDG: Problem here is too much rain - its been raining since November. Enough already!
Liz: I have a feeling that much of what I do would piss off Big Ben and the Boys. But ain't those pics dramatic and the only thing I did in Photoshop was reduce the size for the Internet. Mom Nature can be beautiful.
Wow! You really weren't kidding!
Brings to mind the thunderstorm in Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons". Now I know where his inspiration originated. (even if the storm doesn't happen in the Winter section)

Stunning Will! Lovely indeed. Looks like a good night for a bottle of red wine, a hearty meal, and lot's of indoor wrestling.
