Mercoledi Musciale

What the hell, it worked during the Great Depression - and looking at my retirement savings sure as hell brings on a great depression these days.

Ain't Ginger the cat's pajamas? And ig-pay atin-lay, etcha-bay obody-nay peaks-say hat-tay hese-tay ays-day.

You can never go wrong with a Busby Berkeley number. I forgot how much I love those corny old musicals from the 30's.

Ginger was terrific, though I heard a some very funny stories about her from a fellow I met who had worked with her in the 40's. Terrific dancer, but not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Here in the U.S., we're all wearing our money too because the banks are losing it. My coins aren't covering quite as well as Ginger's though.... It's a bit embarrassing.

Growing up, we always assumed our houses were bugged and always spoke pig latin to each other! "Ond-bay. Ames-jay Ond-bay!" That's me.
