A "Numbers" Correction

CORRECTION: In a posting on Monday December 7th the legal drinking age in Ontario in 1967 was erroneously given as 18. It was at that time 21. The management regrets any misunderstanding that may have arisen from this error.

Many thanks to my friend Dayle for bringing this fact to my attention. She did a bit of research, either that or her memory is better than mine. The fact - though often I am so vague on facts that I could be a reporter for the Toronto Star - is that today will only be the 42nd anniversary of the day I was legally allowed to have liquor touch my lips. And Vicki if you read this just hold your tongue I'm talking legally okay! And I don't want to be bothered with facts!

I am right today is your birthday.

Happy Birthday!

I have had to admit that the older I get the quicker the time passes. It is not fair that I have fewer left than I have had. I know - life is not fair.

My word verification today is "spaced". It is better than the last one which of course I have forgotten and cannot check without loosing this comment. Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something.

I admit it, I have a good memory for useless stuff!
But there is a story for this one. My brother waited with much anticipation to legally buy and drink liquor (borrowed ID worked for me) The let down was horrible when the age was lowered two months before his 21st bd.

Off topic, but I know you're a Trieste lover. Where do you recommend to stay that won't cost an arm and a leg? We're going some time in Jan (uary, that is, not Morris - so glad you've discovered her).

Diaghlevian season's greetings!
