Lunedi Lunacy

Many, many, many years BL - Before Laurent - I had a partner who use to huff and puff that musicals, particularly movie musicals, were ridiculous. People didn't break into song and dance out of nowhere. Well he may not have - and we may not have in fact he hated it when I would burst into song on the Toronto subway - but this group of family and friends do.

In my books its inspired lunacy and should happen more often in our lives.

Okay they may not be Zero Mostel and the original cast of Fiddler on the Roof but they got some of the Jerome Robbins choreography down pretty damned good.

L'chai-im!

Many thanks to my darling Shirl for this one.

I've heard that singing on the street can lead to some great friendships!

LOVE! We should all have more musical and choreographed lives. And that woman/bridesmaid sings pretty well!

I always felt that my life should be accompanied by music wherever I go. Lynette goes to work tunes, Lynette faces difficult situations with children tunes, Lynette is light-hearted and free at home tunes. That sort of thing. The world would be a happier place with more music. It's one of the things I love about Mexico. People sing everywhere: on the street, while working, walking down the beach. Love.

I'm so honored to be mentioned and thanked on your blog, my dearest Will.

I think the world would be a better place if we spontaneously broke into song. Some mornings as Jon is just waking up I break into song. I know he likes it because he laughs. (I'm sure the laughter has nothing to do with the fact that I'm completely tone-deaf.)

Terrific! And hilarious! SO MUCH BETTER than the usual boring reception speeches!
