When we gather at Simonetta and Renato's this afternoon for Easter pranzo the table decorations will include a traditional marzipan lamb from Sicilia - much like the one in the header above. Laurent won't be with us to celebrate - he's in Montreal helping with family things this week - but the Easter Bunny did find him a bit earlier this week and left this:
Yes - somewhere in amongst all that orange wrapping and ribbon is a large chocolate Easter egg.
All part of Easter traditions here - and another tradition that will be observed is to raise our glasses to friends and loved ones absent. Here's to you!
